Departing Melbourne at around 8am, you'll pass through Western Plains of Victoria on the way to historic Ballarat. Ballarat boomed in the 1850’s with the widespread discovery of gold in the district. Learn a little about the history and enjoy morning tea at the site of the infamous Eureka Rebellion. Continue the drive through the picturesque western volcanic plains, passing through the town of Moyston, the birthplace of Australian Rules Football.
Arrive at the foot of the Grampians Range known as Gariwerd in the local Jardwadjali language and immerse yourself in the Australian bush with a gentle stroll to Silverband Falls.
Continue to the township of Halls Gap for lunch. Keep an eye open for the local kangaroos and the abundant birdlife that can be seen in the main street. After lunch, head to the Wonderland Turntable for a short hike to the Grand Canyon.
Your last stop is MacKenzie Falls. No trip to the Grampians would be complete without a visit to these majestic falls.

Great day!

Such a fantastic trip. Margaret was an excellent guide and led us to all the best spots. We even got a wild emu and a bunch of kangaroos to top of the day. Highly recommended, but be ready to walk!
Highly recommended. Beautiful scenery and views.

Excellent full day tour to The Grampians. Tiring, but very much worth the effort. Saw some amazing scenery and views along the way.
Walks are moderate to strenuous depending on your fitness level, but very much worth the effort.
Opportunity to see wild kangaroos and emus, small lizards and birds in their natural environment.
Highly recommended day out.
Super!!!

After our first experience with "Go West Tours" and going to the Great Ocean Road, we decided to go to Grampians National Park. It was a fantastic day! We would like to thank Rachel, Eva and Lucy for their excellent leadership, amazing sense of humor and professionalism. Too bad our vacation is over. We would go on another trip with "Go West Tours".
Best hidden gem

Greame was the best host ever. He was smart and funny. This is a must do trip. A true gem. The tour is underpriced for what you get.
Breathtaking & Beautiful MacKenzie Falls!

Enjoyed the trip! Graeme was a delightful tour guide, he paced the day very well and accompanied us. Overall, enjoyed the MacKenzie Falls the best, it was breathtaking. Steps down were quite steep thus recommend wearing a good pair of shoes. Throughout the visit there were other lookouts promising good sights and views. Also there were opportunities to take close up photos with the kangaroos etc. A recommended trip and definitely one to add to your must do list ^^ Thank you for a wonderful trip!
Top notch experience!

I got Rach, Red and Cloe. They are a blast of a team! Very knowledgeable and fun to be around. I went to the Grampians tour which is a bit far away from Melbourne, but the team made the trip super enjoyable! 100/10 recommend!
Amazing views

Great time at the Grampians with our guide Rachel! I’d definitely recommend this tour for those who love nature and landscapes. Although we spend the majority of the time traveling the route is quite nice to lay back and relax. The walks to see the waterfalls are easy and the lookouts are breathtaking.
Aaron’s perspective on the Grampians!

The trip to the Grampians was a very scenic one. The minivan was comfortable. Aaron made it more interesting by his commentary, and his range of Aussie music (available on Spotify).
The Grampians National Park is worth a visit. The rock formations are fabulous. From the “step-shaped” mountain tops of sheer sandstone rock, to the “pancake” shaped rocks at the Grand Canyon walk, everywhere held stunning views.
There was plenty to do and see. Halls Creek was laid back, and a great spot to stop for lunch. The choices were yummy: bakery pies, home made fudge, and ice cream from different shops.
The tour was varied from walking in “The Grand Canyon” of the Grampians, to a series of special observation points with panoramic views of the Grampians. We also had the choice of viewing and/or walking to Mackenzie Falls. So this trip caters for active or laid back travellers.
I was warmed by Aaron’s passion for the area, and his pride in showing off another aspect of Victoria. As a mature aged solo traveller, he looked after me, and his friendly approach helped to “make my day”. Well done Aaron.
Wonderfull experience. Must visit for all. I loved the tour guide. She has incredible energy. Rachel.
