Departing Melbourne at around midday, you'll travel to Victoria's most colourful attraction, the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks.** Get up close to koalas and other Australian animals at the Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park under supervision from the incredible staff at the Sanctuary. Watch a wildlife show and even have the chance to hand feed cute Wallabies and Kangaroos! The highlight of your Phillip Island experience will begin at dusk as you watch the fairy penguins waddling up the beach into their burrows in the sand dunes. **Please note that we will not be able to visit Brighton Beach on all weekdays for a period of 5 weeks from 16th May 2022. The local council has advised that the beach will be closed while sand remediation works take place.

Moonlit Sanctuary is dedicated to helping save Australia’s endangered wildlife from extinction. Many of the animals kept at the Sanctuary are threatened with extinction. However, just keeping and breeding rare animals is not enough, they must interact with programs aimed at saving them in the wild.

Fun trip!

Fun trip. Our guide Edge was on extraordinarily kind and knowledgable. Well organised! The penguins was the highlight but everything else was worth it too!

Rob.S was a superb guide and driver

Went on a day trip to Phillip Island on Sunday, with Rob as our guide and driver. Rob was very informative and entertaining as a guide and reliable as a driver. We had a really good time and learnt some new things along the way. I would highly recommend this tour and Rob, especially :)

Terrific tour to Phillips Island!!

This was an amazing tour with a fantastic tour leader Mark! We saw the Brighton Beach bathing boxes, the Moonlit Wildlife Sanctuary, the Anzac Beach, the Nobbies before stopping for dinner in Cowes. The penguin parade was marvelous. It was great to go with Go West tours since they have a very comfortable bus that picks you up near your hotel and had WiFi. Mark did a great job explaining all the sights and giving us history of Australia and Melbourne. He was great at leading our group and very personable. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone! We are a family of 5 from the U.S.

Awesome time, great to see Aussie wildlife.

We loved the Moonlit Sanctuary and really enjoyed the whole day overall. Penguins were super cute, and ended up seeing many different animals around the Nobbies viewpoint. Our guide Luke was very friendly and helpful.
